Start Sheets for all four days will be posted on the website four weeks before the event commences - see 2025 Tour Info dropdown to find them.

REGISTRATION

This takes place on Monday 7th July 2025 at Penwortham Golf Club in the Main Lounge – access adjacent to the 1st Tee (no golf shoes permitted). The Registration Process involves the confirming of Team details, that players are members of affiliated clubs, and the issue of any information regarding the week ahead.
Registration will open at 07:10.

Each Team Captain should attend registration at least 30 minutes before their first player is due on the tee. Entrants must be members of an affiliated golf club with an active handicap. It is each players responsibility to ensure that they have a ‘competition’ handicap as shown on the Central Database of Handicaps for their region.

The substitution of Original Team members may take place at Registration. Substitutions after Day 1 are quite permissible but must be notified to the Organising Committee and whilst rendering that Team ineligible for an overall Team Prize, they remain eligible for all the Daily Prizes - a number of Teams have already opted for this facility this year.

COMPETITION FORMAT / RULES

The Tour lasts 4 consecutive days, Monday through Thursday inclusive, and all players play at the same course on each day. The competition is a 4-man team event, and Stableford points are scored on each day by every team member as follows:-

All scores count to the team score. The handicap limit is 20 before any calculation. The Organising Committee will display running totals on a real-time leader board, and publish on the website upon conclusion of play each day.

R&A Rules of Golf apply throughout. Score Cards will be issued each day and must be returned to the Organising Committee within 20 minutes of completion of play.
Play off criteria will be based on Day-4 scores i.e. best 18, best back 9/6/3/2/1.

CANCELLATION OR SUSPENSION OF PLAY

Decisions regarding the Suspension or Cancellation of play will be the responsibility of the Organising Committee.

Should play be suspended on any day the Organising Committee will endeavour to restart play as long as the suspension does not exceed two hours.

Should play be cancelled on any day, if all groups are through the 9th hole then scores for the front 9 will stand for that day, otherwise all scores for that day will be void.

SCORE CARDS

These will be issued daily at each venue as follows:

Day 1 - Penwortham, Main Lounge (no golf shoes).
Day 2 - Fairhaven, Ground Floor Lobby (golf shoes allowed).
Day 3 - Preston, Ground Floor Lounge (golf shoes allowed).
Day 4 - St. Annes Old Links, Ground Floor Lounge (no golf shoes).

REFRESHMENTS

Weather permitting, each course will ensure on-course refreshments and snacks are available at half-way points.

PRIZE STRUCTURE

Entrants will hopefully appreciate the excellent value that this event provides and treat any prizes as a bonus.
Prize vouchers will be of the kind that can be exchanged virtually anywhere, and are as follows . . .

Overall Team Prizes:
      1st    £800 i.e. 4 x £200
      2nd  £700 i.e. 4 x £175
      3rd   £600 i.e. 4 x £150
      4th   £500 i.e. 4 x £125
      5th to 8th Overall Teams  Golf Vouchers for 4-Balls at various Courses
     

Daily Prizes:
      Day 1 1st pair £60 each, 2nd pair £50 each, 3rd pair £40 each
      Day 2 1st pair £60 each, 2nd pair £50 each, 3rd pair £40 each
      Day 3 1st pair £60 each, 2nd pair £50 each, 3rd pair £40 each
      Day 4 1st team £50 each, 2nd team £40 each, 3rd team £30  - all for Teams outside of top 4 on Overall Rankings.

       There will be Prizes for a Nearest the Pin on a Par 3 & a Nearest the Pin in 2 on a Par 4 each day.

Any golfer recording a hole-in-one will receive a complimentary bottle of whisky.

DRESS CODE

In the Clubhouses - smart casual, on the course – normal golf attire, no jeans, t-shirts, trainers.
