HOW TO ENTER :

From Sunday 26th November 2017 the online entry process will be available via this link at http://www.brsgolf.com/penwortham/opens_home.php (online booking site is hosted by Penwortham and opens in a new window).
You can access time slots and book your team in - according to the constraints and rules of the Tour.

ENTRY FEES:

The entry fee for 2018 is £82.50 per person, thus the entry fee for a 4-man team is £330.
Payment for all the four-man team must be made at time of entry.

Any team withdrawing before 1st May 2018 will receive a refund of £290.
Teams withdrawing after 1st May 2018 will only receive a refund of £290 if the organisers are able to re-allocate the tee time at full price.

ENTRY CONSTRAINTS:

• Online entry will be open from 26th November 2017.
• Tee times will be at 10 minute intervals between 08:20 – 15:00 inclusive.
• Closing Date is 8th May 2018.
• Entrants must be members of an affiliated golf club with an active handicap and be CDH-registered (Central Database of Handicaps).
• Team members need not all be from the same Golf Club.
• Each team must submit a Team Name at Registration.

REGISTRATION:

Registraion takes place on Wednesday 6th June 2018 at Penwortham GC, and involves the checking of handicaps and issue of any information regarding the week ahead e.g. local rules and other relevant information.

Each Team Captain should attend registration at least 30 minutes before their first player is due on the tee. He must have proof of handicap for all Team Members - otherwise that Team cannot compete for the Team Prizes.

Changes to original team members may take place at registration; however any substitutions after day 1 must be notified to the Organising Committee and will render a Team ineligible for a Team Prize, they do however remain eligible for Daily Prizes.

PRIZES:

There will be a Nearest the Pin on a Par 3 & a Nearest the Pin in 2 on a Par 4 each day.

There are Team Prizes for the first seven Teams and Daily Prizes for the best 3 scores on each of the three days.

 Due to its value the Daily Prize on Day 3 at Ormskirk cannot be won by any of the top 4 teams in the overall rankings.

COMPETITION RULES:

R&A Rules of Golf apply throughout. Score Cards will be issued each day at Registration and must be returned to the Organising Committee within 20 minutes of completion of a round.

Play off criteria will be based on Day-3 scores and are included in the Joining Instructions.

START TIMES:

Each 4-man team will enter against a single tee time on the online entry start sheet, and to enable the competition to operate effectively the Organising Committee will arrange and issue all four daily start sheets which will be published one week before the event.

The tee time against which a team initially registers will only denote the approximate tee time that those four competitors play each day e.g. a team registering against tee times 08:20, 08:30, 08:40 or 08:50 will be required to play at any of those tee times during the 4 days of the Tour. This is necessary to enable the separation of players and pairs-of-players belonging to the same team.
